Bugsy was collected by AARU in November 2012 as a stray.  He was in a very neglected and poor state of health.  I am pleased to say that, after lots of care and trips to the vet, he has now made a very happy, affectionate and healthy cat!  He loves lots of fuss, will eat anything but, because he is  FIV positive, will need to be an indoor cat. He would suit a quieter home or home with older children.

Bugsy says – “Look at me know”  What a handsome boy –  I’ve been told I look like Mog The Cat (in the books by Judith Kerr)!!
I haven’t had a very good start in life but after lots of love and care I enjoy following my fosterer’s around the house and checking that they are cleaning things properly !!  I do prefer a quiet home although I have been known to play with older children and my stuffed toys. I like a comfy lap to sit on whilst I have my forty winks in the evening but also enjoy a nice wildlife programme on the television.  I am an indoor cat, if you would like to visit please give AARU a call.

Does anybody out there have room for this lovely chap?

Aged around 8 years old, neutered, micro-chipped, litter-trained.

He has had flea and worming treatment. All our cats are “snap” blood-tested for Felv/FIV at the Vets and found to be negative unless CLEARLY stated. In Bugsy’s case he was found to be positive.  However,  he is a truly lovely cat, please give him a chance.
