Archie, the last of the 15 rescued canal puppies has a new home!
After an unfortunate start to his short life, Archie has been adopted by a couple who adopted one of the other 15 puppies a year ago. They greeted each other like long lost friends and hopefully he will have a long and happy life with his new family. The news is that he is settling in very well.
Without the help of volunteers and fosterers who look after the animals needing homes the charity would not be able to operate so many thanks to those involved with Archie and all the other animals in our care.
If after reading this, you feel that you could offer a loving home or would like to foster an animal, then please contact the charity using the details below.
Archie is an adorable young dog, warm hearted and loving, and great with older children. He would suit living with an experienced dog owner with the time and interest to devote to him. Archie has undergone some upheaval in his short life and stability is important for his continued development. Archie was one of 15 puppies dumped by the side of a canal last winter and he enjoys the company of other dogs and is now well behaved with the cats he lives with !
Archie is almost 1 year old. He is microchipped, neutered and his vaccinations are up to date.
If you are interested in visiting Archie with a view to adoption, please contact us by emailing : firstname.lastname@example.org Please include your full address including postcode and telephone number , with the subject heading “Archie Dog”. A little bit of information about yourself and the type of home you can offer will be appreciated and our dog welfare officer will call you for a chat.
All potential adopters will be home-checked, prior to adopting an animal, and an adoption fee is payable.
