This is  Major Tom.  He was a stray for at least 8 years, probably more. He came to Animal Accident Rescue Unit after he was trapped and had to have most of his teeth out and his fur shaved off.

Sadly it’s expected that he won’t live much longer due to a heart condition – but he currently has a lovely life as he was taken in, and is being fostered,  by someone who loves him.

The Animal Accident Rescue Unit has a lifelong commitment to the animals it rescues, so Major Tom became one of their permanent foster cats. This means cats that aren’t able to be rehomed due to medical conditions, are cared for by the Charity’s network of fosterers for the rest of their lives, with the Charity providing financial support.
