Max has now been adopted.

Hi my name is Max and I’m a playful boy looking for a family to call my own.

I came into the Animal Accident Rescue Unit after a kind lady rescued me from a bad home. Sadly, she was unable to keep me and I’m now living in foster care. My fosterer says I’m a sweet natured little dog and very well behaved.

I’m clean in the house and am quiet during the night. I sleep in my crate and am relaxed when my fosterers leave the house. I understand basic commands like ‘no’, ‘sit’ ‘come’ and would be suitable for further training.

I’m approximately 2 years old and a terrier cross, with patterdale genes.  I’ve been described as having a border terrier head, the body of a patterdale with a pug’s tail! The result makes for a rather handsome chappie, I think you’ll agree!

I’ve got loads of energy and never get tired of playing. I love other dogs so would be looking to live with a canine companion.

My fosterer has introduced me to children as well and I’m fine with them. In fact, I enjoy human attention so much, if you sit down I’ll cuddle up – and if you feed me, I’ll become your shadow! I eat very well and am not fussy.

So if you live in the Nottinghamshire area please come and say hello. My chirpy personality is bound to win you over – what are you waiting for?
