Nick1Nick

I was found wandering injured and hungry. My coat was dirty and knotted and my ears were very sore. I was very kindly taken off to the vets by AARU where I was treated for my poorly ears. They think I’m about 7 years old. At first I was scared and nervous, but now I’ve learnt to trust people.

I’m a handsome boy now, my coat is looking gorgeous and,  now  my ears are getting better, my hearing has improved so much!

The things I like most are the company of my ‘foster brothers’. The cats I live with at the moment are very tolerant of me and I enjoy greeting them with a nose rub and chirp. I love food and will eat anything that isn’t nailed to the floor!  I love to play, climb up the cat tree, I love to chase cat toys and to have a cuddle with my ‘foster mum’.

If I could describe my ideal home, I would be happy if there’s another sociable cat that can join in with my chirping noises and play with me. I really enjoy human company too. I would also need someone to occasionally check my ears to make sure they are not getting sore, (although I don’t like having this done!) I’m quite a big lad but I am really a softie!   I would be a lovely friend for you and, perhaps, another cat.  Could you be that special person to adopt me?

Around 7 years old, neutered, micro-chipped, litter-trained.  He has had flea and worming treatment. All our cats are “snap” blood-tested for Felv/FIV at the Vets and found to be negative unless CLEARLY stated.

All adopters will be home-checked prior to adopting a cat, sorry but we do not rehome onto busy roads/near busy roads.  If you are interested in NICK  please contact us by: telephoning 0115 9984307 .  This number must not be used for emergency calls or any other types of enquiry.  Please leave a message if no reply and our Adoption Volunteeer will get back to you as soon as possible.
