Here’s Spice coming out of his cosy carrier: looks like he’s going for a leisurely stroll along the catwalk – excuse the pun!
This lovely soft ginger boy was reported to us as bleeding heavily from a wound on his throat and of course we responded and took him immediately to our vet. Spice had indeed been injured somehow but he purred all the time he was being checked out and allowed the nurses to care for him.
We have tried to find his owner but sadly no one has come forward to claim him. For the time being he’s safe and well with one of our fabulous fosterers while we try all we can to find a new home for him.
He is fit and healthy now and really friendly. When our fosterers’ young daughter set eyes on him it was love at first sight for them both. Now Spice is often seen sitting happily on her knee or playing and chatting away with his own quite loud purrs and chirps. It’s so nice to see we’re told and they both appear to be content in each other’s company.
He is also sharing with another cat and there appears to be no sign of aggression from either of them.
He is only about three years old so he has many years in front of him and Spice seems to be a very laid back type of cat and he would be a pleasure to call your pet. All he wants is some love and attention from you and he’ll give you so much more back – if you’ll let him.
Around 3 years old, neutered, micro-chipped, litter-trained. He has had flea and worming treatment. All our cats are “snap” blood-tested for Felv/FIV at the Vets and found to be negative unless CLEARLY stated.
