Hello I’m Tabitha.  I’ve been told that my previous owners moved away and just left me on my own so, when I was rescued by AARU,  I was feeling very poorly. It was difficult to find food and I was scared and cold. I had lost a lot of weight, as I wasn’t used to having to care for myself, and was extremely thin. Animal Accident Rescue Unit have tried to find my owners but no one has come for me.

I’m about ten months old and a very pretty girl with lovely silver grey and white markings. I am very friendly and love nothing better than to have lots of cuddles from my fosterer who has looked after me really well;  I am nearly back to the correct weight for my age.

For me everything is an adventure. I love to go exploring around the house and I cannot wait until I’m adopted so I can explore outside as well. I like to climb and play and I also like gardening as you can see – although my fosterer is not too happy about me helping! I am very vocal as well and love to talk to my fosterer as much as I can and she laughs at me, great fun.

I’m not a fussy eater and am very clean and easy to look after but I do adore being made a fuss of so would love to go to a new home where my new owner had lots of time to spend with me as I’m still young and enjoy inter-action as much as possible.

I don’t think I like dogs much as I met one recently and was very scared, although he wasn’t much bigger than me I would prefer not to be in a home with a dog unless we were introduced slowly and I could get used to them. I would love to be around other cats though so I could play and curl up with them for a snooze when we’re tired.

I’ll make a great companion and would shower my new owner with tons of purrs and chat – and lots and lots of fun and love of course.

Around 10 months old, neutered, micro-chipped, litter-trained.  She has had flea and worming treatment. All our cats are “snap” blood-tested for Felv/FIV at the Vets and found to be negative unless CLEARLY stated.

All adopters will be home-checked prior to adopting a cat, sorry but we do not rehome onto busy roads/near busy roads.  If you are interested in  TABITHA please contact us by: telephoning 0115 9984307 .  This number must not be used for emergency calls or any other types of enquiry.  Please leave a message if no reply and our Adoption Volunteeer will get back to you as soon as possible.
